Pesto

This recipe makes about 1/2 cup of sauce. Double the ingredient amounts for sufficient sauce for multiple portions. The sauce is thick in consistency and mixes well with pastas and can be used with pizzas.

Instructions

  1. Remove basil stems from basil and discard. Only use the basil leaves.
  2. Peel garlic and roughly chop or slice.
  3. Add ingredients to food processor. Blitz with short pulses to keep the ingredients from becoming a purée consistency.
