Buffalo Cauliflower

I originally discovered this recipe in a reddit thread. The link to the original recipe source is in that thread and can be found here. This makes an excellent vegetarian-friendly alternative to chicken wings and the texture is as close to perfect as it gets.

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, water, garlic powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Dip cauliflower in batter then place onto lightly greased, non-stick baking sheet.
  4. Bake about 10 minutes, or until batter hardens. Flip and bake another 5 minutes.
  5. Whisk hot sauce and butter in a small bowl.
  6. Brush cauliflower with sauce.
  7. Bake an additional 8-10 minutes or until cauliflower is crispy.
